Geohazards and Climate Change Master Course (four terms)
Programme description
The aim of the course Geohazards and Climate Change (II level, general academic, Earth and Environmental Sciences discipline) taught at the Faculty of Geographical and Geological Sciences (FGGS) Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU) is to educate students in the field of knowledge of climate change and geohazards and to develop skills in identification of environmental hazards, in particularly those associated with changing climate. The objective of the course is to equip Students in tools for strategic planning of mitigation and adaptation for environmental changes, both at the level of the natural environment and social processes. The courses within the Geohazards and Climate Change are the effect of international experience of the researchers responsible for the programme of the study.
